PURPOSE:To protect a card part from electric damage by providing the card type data processor with a mechanism for optically transmitting a signal to a signal transmission route between the processor and a body. CONSTITUTION:At the time of transmitting/receiving data between the card type data processor 1 and the data transmitting/receiving part of the body 2, data are transmitted from the body 2 by turning on and off a signal transmitting light emitting part 7 and the processor 1 receives a signal by a signal receiving light receiving part 4. The processor 1 transmits data by interrupting the light of a light source 5 by a signal transmitting liquid crystal display part 3 and the body 2 receives the signal by a signal receiving light receiving part 6. Since there is no electric contact, the generation of a device failure due to high voltage such as electrostatic damage can be prevented. |
