The device serves for preventing damage of component parts brought via a transport path from which they fall into a pallet. The damage is caused by a collision of the component part with the pallet or with a different component part. The device consists of a flexible elastic sleeve (2) mounted on the end of the transport path (1), and a lifting device, which lifts the sleeve (2) immediately after the component part enters the sleeve (2). Friction and flexible deformation of the sleeve (2) absorbs completely the kinetic energy of the component part.<IMAGE>
