PURPOSE:To obtain foamable organopolysiloxane composition having excellent foaming ratio and foam stabilizing property comprising alpha,omega- dihydroxyorganopolysiloxane filled with silica powder having the surface treated with organosilazane as principal ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A1: 100 pts.wt. alpha,omega-dihydroxydiorganopolysiloxane is mixed with A2: 10-80 pts.wt. silica powder having >=50 m<2>/g specific surface area, A3: 0.5-10 pts.wt. organosilazane and A4: 0.5-10 pts.wt. water and kneaded at room temperature to 200 deg.C to obtain a composition A containing <=50 ppm ammonia. Then, (A) 100 pts.wt. the composition A is mixed with (B) 0.01-50 pts.wt. organopolyhydroxypolysiloxane, (C) organohydrogenpolysiloxane in an amount of SiH group so as to be 0.5-30 mol to 1 mol silanol group in the components A+B and (D) platinum (compound) in an amount of platinum metal so as to be 0.1-200 ppm to total weight of the components A+B+C to afford the aimed composition. |
