New compounds with pharmacological, particularly antiarrhythmic action of general formula I, where R<1>, R<2> and R<3> represent the same or different C1-C4 alkyl group or one of these symbols represents the benzyl group and the others represent C1-C4 alkyl group, R<4> represents a esterified hydroxyl group of general formula -OOC-R<6>, where R<6> represents the C1-C4 alkyl group or C5-C6 cycloalkyl group or possibly halogen or one or more C1-C4 alkyl groups or C1-C4 alkoxy groups, nitro groups, phenol groups, phenoxy groups or trifluoromethyl groups substituted phenol or benzyl group or naphthyl group, which is possibly halogenised or hydrogenised, or cinnamyl group, which is possibly substituted by halogen or C1-C4 alkoxy groups, or benzhydryl group or 1,1-diphenylhydroxymethyl group or, as a heterocyclic substituent, the thenyl or 9-xanthenyl group, and their pharmaceutically suitable additive salts with acids are prepared by leaving a new alcohol of general formula VIII to react, where R<1>, R<2> and R<3> have the abovementioned meaning, with a derivative of general formula R<6>-COX, where R<6> has the abovementioned meaning and X represents halogen or the C1-C4 alkoxy group, in the presence of a reagent of weighting acid or organic solvent and catalyst and the acquired ester derivative of general formula I is possibly divided into its alloisomers and/or it is transformed to its additive salts with acids.<IMAGE>
