Device for destroying solid rubbish of the household waste or similar type, by incineration. Device comprising a hopper (1) equipped with a load regulator (16) and with a gate (2) which closes in a sealed manner; a hearth (4) provided with aerators (9) (10) and (18), and grids (11) provided with thrust cylinders (22) facilitating their movement; at (6) there is a combustion chamber; at (13) there is a heat probe driving a burner for assisting with the combustion of the gases in the post-combustion chamber (8); at (16) there is a hot spot column for reigniting the gas, splitting up these gases and precipitating them onto the walls of the chamber (8) for the purpose of removing dust therefrom via a ballistic and sedimentation effect; at (25) is the flue pipe for discharging the gases. <IMAGE>
