PURPOSE:To make color difference of a irradiating light due to light source color temperatures less conspicuous by making a reflecting surface of a reflector, constituting a part of an irradiating section with an incandescent lamp as a light source, bluish-colored by surface treatment. CONSTITUTION:When a main beam of a vehicle headlight 1 is used, both halogen lamps 11, 11' and metal halide lamps 12, 12' are lit. Light beams (l), (l),... radiated from the halogen lamps 11, 11' sideward and backward are reflected forward by reflector surfaces 6a, 6'a as bluish light beams lb, lb,.... As a result, a widened light distribution pattern 17 is formed. A light distribution pattern 19 having a cut line 18 is formed by light beams lm, lm... produced by metal halide lamps 12, 12'. Therefore, the overall light distribution pattern is the pattern produced by overlapping both patterns 17 and 19. The radiated light in this case is bluish as a whole and color temperature difference inherent to the light source becomes less conspicuous. |
