The melt spinning appts. to form cladded filaments, with the core and mantle of different materials, has a number of guide channels (24, 26) according to the number of materials formed by a dividing plate (14), leading to expanded entry channels (20) in front of the spinnerrette (12) with its drillings (18). The feed channels (24, 26) leading to each entry channel (20) are separated from each other. For each entry channel (20) a centre channel (32) carries the core material, surrounded by a ring channel (28) for the mantle, separated from each other as far as the transfer to the leading plate (16). At least one feed channel (30, 34) is in the leading plate (16), for each supply channel (28, 32). The outer dia. of the ring channel (28), at least at the transfer to the spinarette (12), is smaller than the inner dia. of the entry openings to the assembled expanded entry channels (20) in the spinarette (12).
