PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of removal of slag, and to prevent the generation of trouble while promoting combustion in a combustion furnace by mounting a slag removing baffle and a slag capture member. CONSTITUTION:A slag removing chamber 3 is installed between a combustion furnace 2 and a furnace proper 1, and a first slag removing baffle 7 is mounted to the inlet side of the chamber 3 and a second slag removing baffle 8 to the outlet side in a crossing shape respectively. A plurality of slag capture members 12, which are extended in the direction crossing the removing chamber and arranged zigzag in the direction of flow of combustion gas, are fitted. Accordingly, the slag capture members in zigzag arrangement effectively capture and flow down only slag particles flowing out together with combustion gas, the slag particles are collected in flowing molten slag in a lower section and the intrusion of the slag particles into a furnace proper is prevented while a discharge to the outside of the combustion furnace of combustion heat with combustion is inhibited, and a reaction temperature in the combustion furnace is kept to a sufficiently high value. |
