The process is for the manufacture of hydraulic cylinder tubes, with radial enlargement at the ends, one projecting inwards, one projecting outwards. The process uses a tube blank, with internal diameter determined by that of the finished cyilnder tube, and external diameter determined by that of the outer enlargement. One end is reduced to an internal diameter determined by that of the inner enlargement, and an external diameter determined by that of the finished tube. A mandrel bar with shoulder is inserted into the blank, until it engages on the inner diameter variation. The blank is drawn by a drawing ring, with an internal nozzle diameter determined by the external diameter of the finished tube. The drawing process is finished, when at the end of the blank an unformed section remains, the length of which corresponds to that of the outer enlargements.
