摘要 The croissants received from the transport conveyer are released one by one into the cenering system by an inlet device which is activated by a cam attached to chain which moves in synchronism with a second chain carrying a set of centering boxes. This is in order to ensure that the activation of the inlet device and the readiness of one of the centering boxes occur simultaneously. Six centering boxes each having a recess lying at right angles to the direction of motion, are fixed to the chain by supports one edge of which runs on a guide rail in order to produce an inclined position of the centring boxes until they are symmetrically centered. After the centring, the croissants move onto a roller section to position their points. USE/ADVANTAGE - This invention is used in the prodn. of croissants in the bakery industry. The un-cooked croissants from the rolling machine are centered horizontally and rotationally before enetering the pinching and curving process and the finished prod. is therefore of a uniform geometry and is easier to handle and more pleasing in appearance.
