PURPOSE:To make driving operability excellent for a driver by providing the shut-off state only for one filter of vertical and horizontal visual-angle filters based on whether a navigation screen or a TV screen is selected during the running of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A vertical visual-angle limiting filter 7 shuts off or transmits the light from a display screen into the direction of a front glass part 4 based on the presence or absence of an applied voltage. A horizontal visual-angle limiting filter 12 shuts off or transmits the light into the direction of the driver's eyes. At this time, a vehicle running signal 6 and a TV/navigation selecting signal 8 are inputted into a filter control circuit 13. Whether the vehicle is running or stopped and which of a TV screen or a navigation screen is selected are detected based on the state of the circuit 13. When the vehicle is running, the applied voltage is shut off only for one of the filters 2 and 7 in response to the selection of the navigation screen or the TV screen. When the vehicle is stopped, both filters 2 and 7 are made to be the transmitting state. The display having excellent driving operability for a driver is shown on a display device CRT 1. |
