PURPOSE:To prevent an object from disappearing from the screen of a receiver even when the object is moving by finding out the central position of the said object from a binary picture of the object fetched at a wide angle, segmenting a picture in a rectangular area based thereon, and sending the result. CONSTITUTION:A central position calculation section 7-1 adds addresses of white level picture elements (or black level picture elements) from a binarized picture of an object fetched at a wide angle, and obtains the central position. A picture in a rectangular area with a prescribed width is segmented from the picture of the object fetched at a wide angle based on the obtained center position, the picture is coded by a coding circuit 11 and the result is sent. The picture in a rectangular area is segmented and sent based on the central position of the object in such a way, it is possible to prevent the object from disappearing from the screen of the receiver even when the object is moving. |
