<p>PURPOSE:To control the generation of gas caused by the electrolysis of water to a slight amount by providing electrodes disposed in the positions where said electrodes does not tough water at the time of the burning without water; an electric current detecting means for detecting the current flowing to the electrodes; a latch means for retaining the result detected by the electric current detecting means; and a timer means for supplying the current intermittently to the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Electric power is supplied from a power source 14 for electrodes to a timer means 15. The power is outputted from the timer means 15 by T2 hours at every period of T1 time. During the T2 hours when the power is supplied, an electric current flows between a first electrode 11 and a second electrode 12 via water if water is present between the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12. When there is no water between the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12, no electric current flows between the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12. Accordingly, a current detecting means 13 detects no current flowing to the first electrode 11, and as a result, a signal of the burning without water is outputted from a latch means 16.</p> |
