PURPOSE:To enable a slantly-oriented prepreg sheet to be manufactured continuously by winding a resin film carried on a processing paper round the outer surface of a core which regards the moving direction of the resin film as the axis thereof in making the surface of the resin film be outside, further, winding long fibers therearound, after that, cutting the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A resin film 4 which is wound round a roll is drawn from the roll and rounded gradually on the core 6 in making the resin film be outside so that a cylindrical resin film is formed, and then long fibers 5 are supplied therein. The resin film 4 and long fibers 5 are given rotation, and thus the long fibers 5 are wound round the cylinder of the resin film 4 through the movement of the resin film 4 and relative rotation between the resin film 4 and long fibers 5. Next, the cylinder is split-opened or crushed and cut the rear both ends thereof in order to make a sheet-shaped prepreg, and then it is wound up in the form of a roll, or taken up in cutting into a certain length. thus, an arbitrary fiber oriented prepreg required in FRP molding can be obtained continuously. |
