ELASTOMERIC THERMOPLASTIC COPOLYESTER HAVING HIGH RHEOLOGICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND IMPROVED WEATHER RESISTANCE

The rheological and mechanical properties and the ageing resistance of elastomeric thermoplastic copolyesters may be improved by the addition of a synergistic mixture of polycarbodiimide and quinolinic antioxidant. The copolyester compositions containing the above synergistic mixture can be used for extrusion. Said copolyesters, when subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature lower than 150 DEG C, show an increase in melt viscosity so that they can be used for blow-molding.
