PURPOSE:To manufacture a laminate having superior bonding properties with a base by apply a composition composed of polyethylene and an adhesive at the specified ratio and at the specified temperature for extrusion coating. CONSTITUTION:A polyethylene group composition composed of 80 - 98 wt.% of 0.900 - 0.960 density and 2 -20 wt.% of an adhesive and having 2 -40 g/10 minutes melt flow rate is applied to a base for extrusion coating at the processing temperature of 260 - 330 deg.C. At that time, if the density of polyethylene is less than 0.900 g/cm<3>, blocking of the composition gets large and mechanical strength and heat resistance are lowered, while if beyond 0.960 g/cm<3>, bonding properties with the base and compatibility with the adhesive are lowered to lower the mechanical strength remarkably. Also, when the processing temperature is lower than 260 deg.C, compatibility with the base is poor, while beyond 330 deg.C, both of polyethylene and the adhesive are deteriorated to lower mechanical strength. As for the adhesive, resin group hydrocarbon resin, aliphatic group hydrocarbon resin, aromatic group hydrocarbon resin, polyterepene group resin, rosin group, styrene resin or the like is used. |
