The invention relates to a device permitting automatic dispensing of documents. The dispenser is composed of an ejection system constituted by rollers (1, 2) driven by a geared motor (4), the whole assembly being suspended from a bracket (5). When an ejection is requested, the rotation of the rollers entrains the document. The motor is stopped by means of a passage sensor (8). The device according to the invention is particularly suitable for the dispensing of newspapers. <IMAGE>
