摘要 PURPOSE:To rapidly fill a hydraulic servo chamber with an oil pressure and to enable complete engagement of a frictional engaging device by a method wherein when, during gear shifting, a prime mover output is below a given value or the number of revolutions of a prime mover exceeds a given value, a line oil pressure is set to a value higher than a value during steady operation determined by a current prime mover output. CONSTITUTION:At least either a time when, during gear shifting, a prime mover output is below a given value or a time when the number of revolutions of a prime mover exceeds a given value is a time when there is a fear of a flow rate of an oil pressure leaking through a passage 112 for discharging an oil pressure installed to a hydraulic servo chamber 104 of a frictional engaging device for gear shifting being relatively increased to a value higher than an amount of an oil pressure flowing in the hydraulic servo chamber 104. In this case, a line oil pressure is set to a value higher than a value during steady operation determined by a current prime mover output. This method rapidly fills the hydraulic servo chamber 104 with an oil pressure and completes engagement with the frictional engaging device.
