<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a special operation means for frame feed reproducing by setting the frame feed reproducing in both normal and reverse directions by operating a fast forwarding or cue reproducing button and a rewinding or review reproducing button. CONSTITUTION:A mode setting means 2 forms frame feed reproducing mode set data in the normal and the reverse directions of every frame in response to the operation of the rewinding button B1 and the fast forwarding button B6 in a still reproducing mode. When the set data is inputted, a capstan control means 4 generates a capstan control output to allow a start signal and a brake signal to be generated from a capstan servo circuit 9 once respectively. As a result, a capstan driving circuit 10 supplies a start pulse and a brake pulse whose polarity is decided to be either one to a capstan motor 14 once respectively so as to shift a tape by the amount of one pitch of a track in a specified direction, and the still reproducing mode is set again. Therefore, the frame feed reproducing in both directions is executed without providing the special operation means.</p> |
