The appts. detects the evaporation pressure and/or the evaporation temperature and compares them with the ambient temp. and an alarm value. On attaining a rated value, it switches on an optical alarm, which has to be reset after manual removing of a lid. After each further exceeding of the alarm value, the appts. is triggered. The optical alarm pref. remains even after disconnection of the refrigeration plant. Several such plants may be monitored by an arbitrary number of pressure or temp. sensors. ADVANTAGE - Facility for forming even after plant switching off.
