The shoe-base, especially for sports shoes, has a weakened part (6) at the ankle part, as well as a reinforcement part (8). The front (10) of the shoe base has a flexure part (12, 13) running into the shoe`s longitudinal direction and belonging to the sole`s inner and outer edge. The flexure parts (12, 13) are joined by the edge sections (15, 16) of the front shoe base part (10) to the middle section (14). The shoe base back part (11) has a flexure part (18, 19) by which the edge sections (20, 21), of the back shoe base part are joined to its middle part. USE/ADVANTAGE - The shoe base prevents a relative turning movement between the front and back of the front.
