<p>Process and device for removing the yarn turns from the spinning head 6 of a spindle 3 of a spinning or twisting machine for the purpose of the automatic removal of the full bobbin and its replacement by an empty tube. This type of machine comprises spindles 3 extending within a ring 21, on which slides a traveller 22 driven by the yarn 15 coming from a yarn guide 5. The ring 21 is mounted on a frame 2 which is displaced along the bobbin. According to the invention, the yarn guide 5 is first lifted into a partially raised position. Subsequently, the frame 2 carrying the ring 21 is raised to a level higher than the level employed during spinning; the spindle 3 is rotated approximately one turn in the opposite direction to the spinning direction; the spindle is rotated approximately one turn in the spinning direction, and the yarn guide is lifted into a completely raised position. <IMAGE></p> |
