PURPOSE:To keep a leader in a shape suitable for transportation by a method in which a coupler for a stay is moved below the leader to incline the leader to horizontal state, the coupler for the stay is connected with the leader, while the leader is divided above the coupled portion, and the attitude of a gantry device is lowered. CONSTITUTION:A stay cylinder 6 for a stay 5 is extended to slightly incline a leader 4 forward. A sliding lock 43 is removed, and the leader 4 is supported only by a pendant rope 18. When the leader is further inlined, a sliding catch 28 goes down along the leader 4, and when the leader 4 reaches horizontal state, the sliding catch 28 is locked at a fixing portion C below the leader 4. The pendant rope 18 is further loosened, the leader 4 is supported only by the stay 5, and the gantry cylinder 8 is extended to set the height of the gantry device 7 at lowest state. The stay cylinder 6 is adjusted by extension or shrinking to set the height of the base leader 30 at the state of transportation. |
