A modular industrial screen system comprising a number of screen panel modules (1) supported side-by-side, and/or end-to-end by a supporting structure assembly (2). The supporting structure assembly (2) comprises a number of support bars (3) arranged to support peripheral portions (4) of each screen panel module (1) by way of rail members (6,6'). Rail members (6,6') comprise protrusions (12) designed to mate with recesses (14) by means of snap-engagement of lip (13) with groove (15).
