<p>PURPOSE:To surely warn an operator of the strong writing pressure and to protect a mechanism as well as to prevent the misinput operations for an input pen device by fixing a pen point member when the writing pressure higher than a prescribed threshold level is applied. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped metallic or plastic lock spring 7 is connected to the rear end part of a pen point member 2, and a lock catch 5 is formed in a body with a U-shaped arm at its tip part. When an excessive writing pressure is applied, the excessive power is applied to the tip part of the member 2 in the direction vertical to an input surface 1. Thus the member 2 is moved more inside of a pen holder 4 and the catch 5 interlocks a lock hole 6 against the force of the spring 7 at the position of the hole 6. Thus the member 2 is locked at its inserted position. As a result, the user's attention is called with change of the operating feeling. Then a coordinate input surface is surely protected and the misinput operations are prevented for an input pen device.</p> |
