摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a lightweight composite material hard to generate burst destruction at the time of the application of bending load and enhanced in specific bending strength by arranging a synthetic resin fiber reinforced plastic material to an inner layer part and arranging a plastic material reinforced by a carbon fiber having tensile strength of a certain level or below to an outer layer part. CONSTITUTION:This composite material has an inner layer part composed of a plastic material reinforced by a synthetic resin fiber having tensile strength of 15g/denier or more and an outer layer part composed of a plastic material reinforced by a carbon fiber having tensile strength of 200kg/mm<2> or below. In order to increase the composite effect in the specific bending strength of the composite material, a hybrid ratio represented by Vc/Vo+Vc when the volume of the carbon is set to Vc and that of the synthetic resin fiber is set to Vo is pref. set to 0.1 - 0.8. The sum content of the synthetic resin fiber and the carbon fiber in the composite material is pref. 20 - 80 vol.% and the content of the carbon fiber in the carbon fiber reinforced plastic material is pref. 2 - 64 vol.% and the content of the synthetic resin fiber in the synthetic resin fiber reinforced plastic material is pref. 78 - 16 vol.%.
