PURPOSE:To eliminate the reflection from the rear surface of a glass substrate and the unequal reflection from an exposing statement stage by previously applying or adhering a light absorptive material on the rear side of the transparent substrate and patterning a color filter material on the transparent substrate, then peeling the light absorptive material upon ending of the patterning. CONSTITUTION:The light absorptive material having the refractive index relatively approximate to the refractive index of glass is applied or adhered onto the rear surface of the glass substrate. Namely, a resist for color filters to be formed by a dyeing method is applied on the rear surface of the glass and is dyed after exposing and developing on the front surface. The strippable solder resist (masking material for soldering of printed board) in which pigments are dispersed is applied on the rear surface of the glass. Further, a cutter knife and hand are used for the peeling. The physical peeling is executed after every exposing or after the perfection of the three color filters in the case of the color filter base material having the resistance to a developing soln. and dyeing liquid. The reflection from the rear surface of the substrate is prevented in this way. |
