A matrix-shape display device comprises a display film in which a plurality of display elements in the form of displaceable tabs are arranged in a predetermined manner in rows and columns. The display elements can be placed by a setting device in front of or behind covering elements of contrasting colour. The use of a covering film and a display film, which can be adjusted with respect to each other only to a fairly limited extent, and of a setting device which can be moved over the display surface of both films results in an appreciably simpler and more reliable display device. |
