It consists of a metal cabinet. Orifices accommodate visual display and control elements. An electronic card supports a microprocessor managing the whole of the apparatus. Backed-up memories hold the message received by the microphone in digital form. The UHF radar detects a person, even behind a wall or a window, and triggers the message. A battery makes the apparatus independent and preserves the message, even in the event of a mains failure. Built-in amplifier and loudspeaker make the apparatus independent. External sockets accommodate four loudspeakers. A socket can accommodate a second radar. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for broadcasting an advertising or information message continuously or controlled by radar. <IMAGE>
