The invention relates to cycloalkylenazoles of general formula (I), where (a) is a carbocyclic or carbopolycyclic system which may carry at least one alkyl substituent, X is the grouping (b), an oxygen or sulphur atom and Y and Z independently denote a methine group (c) or a nitrogen atom, their pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts with acids and a process for producing them. These compounds possess a strong aromatase-inhibiting activity and can be used to manufacture drugs.
