<p>PURPOSE:To recover silver efficiently in the stage of recovering silver from photographic processing solns. contg. org. acid iron chelate complex and water soluble silver salts by converting said complex to the complex inert to silver with specific metallic compds. CONSTITUTION:A photographic processing soln. contg. org. acid iron chelate complex and water soluble silver salt is added with metallic compds that can form stable org. metallic chelate complex by causing metallic nuclear exchange reaction with said complex. Ni, Zn, Pb, V, La compds., etc. are enumerated as such metallic compds. These compds. are used in the form of inorg. salt such as halide, sulfate, and nitrate or org. complex salt of chelating agent such as acetylacetophosphonocarboxylic acid or the like. By the addition of such metallic compds, the org. acid metallic chelate complex inert to silver is formed, and the redissolution of silver during its recovering is averted and the recovery efficiency of silver is improved.</p> |
