The sheet gripper is used on a printing machine. It consists of a rotary shaft and springloaded fingers. The drive shaft should act as gripper shaft (1) equipped with cam-fitted drive segments (2) enclosed by the main finger bodies (3), with as many springs (5) as segments interposed between the bearing surfaces on the finger and on the segments. USE/ADVANTAGE - Printing. Fingers on sheet grippers float free on load springs at end of grip movement thus preventing excess pressure and sheet displacement.
