PURPOSE:To eliminate the difference in the accumulated heat between the particles of powder and obtain the titled powder capable of giving a cured article having remarkably stabilized fluidity and characteristics in use, by melt kneading a thermosetting resin composition, cooling the kneaded composition, pulverizing the cooled composition, and mixing the powder. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by mixing a thermosetting resin, e.g. epoxy, unsaturated polyester or phenolic resin, with a curing agent, filler, etc. is melt kneaded, cooled, and pulverized to give a resin powder, which is then quickly introduced into a mixer, and mixed and cooled to the atmospheric temperature to eliminate the difference in the accumulated heat between the particles of the powder and give the aimed resin. A mixer or blender, having an agitating means to generate the frictional heat between the powders and a temperature controlling mechanism, e.g. a cooling mechanism on the wall surface or in the intereior thereof is preferred for the mixer. |
