PURPOSE:To effectively prevent any article from being wastefully stored in a refrigerator by providing display control means for displaying food information read by a reader on a display. CONSTITUTION:Decision means 10 for deciding whether or not read food information read by an image scanner 6 is already stored in memory means 11 stores the read food information in the memory means 11 when the read food information is not stored in the memory means 11. An accomodation signal is issued to display control means 12. Alternatively, when the read food information has been stored in the memory means 11, the read food information is erased from the memory means 11 and a fetch signal is issued to the display control means 12. The display control means 12 for controlling a liquid crystal display 7 reads out present month and day or purchasing month and day from a timer 13 when the accomodation signal is inputted thereinto from the decision means 10, and displays the read food information and the purchasing month and day on the liquid crystal display 7, while when the fetch signal is inputted thereinto from the decision means 10, it eliminates the read food information and the purchasing month and day from the liquid crystal display 9. |
