PURPOSE:To allow dust or chip hardly to be generated and to improve durability by abutting the projecting parts of first and second engaging members to be engaged mutually with each other on line contact or plane contact. CONSTITUTION:An optical disk device 1 is composed of a motor 3 which drives rotatably an optical disk 2, a spindle 4, a turntable 5, and the first engaging member 6 attached on the turntable 5. The member 6 is formed in ring shape, and a recessed part 7 whose bottom shape is formed rectangularly and a projecting part 8 whose apex plane shape is formed in sector shape are formed alternately on the upper plane of the member. A hub 12 made of metal is attached in the center part of the transparent substrate of the optical disk 2, and also, the second engaging member 13 composing an engaging means while cooperating with the engaging member 6 is attached in the outside center part of the hub 12. The recessed part 13 and the projecting part 18 of the member 13 are formed in reverse shape to that of the member 6. When both engaging members 6 and 13 are engaged, the projecting parts 8 and 18 are brought into plane-contact with each other, and the driving force of the turntable is dispersed, then, the dust can be prevented from occurring. |
