PURPOSE:To prepare easily a polypropylene resin compsn. with excellent physical properties by mixing a powdered crystalline polypropylene with a specified amt. of a powdered propylene-alkenylsilane copolymer and treating the mixture in a specific way. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 100 pts.wt. powdered crystalline polypropylene with at least 0.01 pts.wt. powdered propylene-alkenylsilane (e.g. vinylsilane) copolymer is irradiated with a radiation and then melt mixed. |
