PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber composition which has a low heat buildup and prevented form decreasing in abrasion resistance by mixing a natural rubber and/or a synthetic diene rubber with a reinforcing filler and a heat buildup improver comprising a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. natural rubber and/or synthetic diene rubber is mixed with 20-150 pts.wt. reinforcing filler (e.g. carbon black) and 0.05-20 pts.wt. heat buildup improver (c) comprising a compound selected from among those of formulas I-V [wherein R<1> is H, a 1-18C alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, an alkenyl, a cyanoalkyl or the like; R<2-3> are each H, a halogen atom, OH, an aryl, an aralkyl, a lower alkyl(thio), a lower alkoxy or the like; R<4> is OH, a halogen atom or a proton acid residue; R<5> is R<4> or a group of any one of formulas VI-VII; (m)>=1; R<7> is R<5>; R<6> is H, a lower alkyl, an aryl, an alkylamido, a carboxamido or the like; M is mono-, bi-, tri- or tetra-valent metal atom; (x) is 1-4 which is equal to the valence of M; (y) is in the range of 0<(y)<(x); (n)>=1; and Y is a molecular end of a compound of formula III and is a residue determined from the reagent for the production of the compound of formula III or the treatment after the reaction for production]. |
