摘要 PURPOSE:To exactly execute the compensation of a pilot signal transmitting level by learning an attenuation quantity ratio characteristic of channel frequency obtained caused by a rainfall for plural areas, and keeping a level of a system pilot signal constant in a transmitting antenna output point of a communication satellite even in the case plural areas are all under a rainfall. CONSTITUTION:A pilot level controller 10 reports the respective pilot signal receiving levels to other earth stations -2-N through a communication apparatus 12. The earth stations -2-N obtain statistical information of a correlation by learning a correlation related to the rainfall attenuation quantity of an up-channel frequency and a down-circuit frequency in an area in which the own station is positioned, based on its information. In the case, all earth stations -1-N are under a rainfall, the earth stations -1-N in an area in which the rainfall quantity is small execute an automatic control of a transmitting level of pilot signals 1-N of the own station, based on the statistical information of the learned correlation, and it becomes a system pilot signal. In such a way, a level of the system pilot signal is made constant.
