PURPOSE:To enable even a user who has a little basic knowledge relating to a program language to develop a program by making the user define the input/ output data structure, the relationship between both data, and the data attributes and then obtaining a desired program. CONSTITUTION:The hardware is constituted of a CPU201, an auxiliary storage device 202, an input data structure file 203, an output data structure file 204, a file 205 for produced source programs, and a program control structure file 206 which is stored in the storage 202. A user interface is provided to define the input/output data structure, the relationship between both data, and the attribute of each nodal point of the data structures. Then a program is automatically produced from the information designated by a user via the user interface. Thus even a user having no technical knowledge can produce a program and the program productivity is improved.
