PURPOSE:To provide an anti-retrovirus agent having an effective human immune deficiency virus-resistant activity and not exhibiting toxicity, containing as a main ingredient a composition prepared by mixing betaine or a salt thereof with a tungstic acid salt in an aqueous solution. CONSTITUTION:An anti-retrovirus agent having the above-mentioned activity and useful for treating or preventing acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS) contains as a main ingredient a composition prepared by mixing betaine or a salt thereof such as betaine hydrochloride or sulfate with one kind or more of tungstic acid salts, especially sodium tungstate, potassium tungstate and ammonium tungstate in an aqueous solution by an ultrasonic wave treating method, etc. |
