PURPOSE:To obtain an air conditioner capable of blowing hot air down to a foot location even under a weak air blowing condition during a heating operation by a method wherein an air direction changing plate is arranged in a longitudinal direction of an outlet, both end surfaces in a longitudinal direction are provided with a pair of air driven plates and a connecting rod for connecting both air driven plates through a spring is provided. CONSTITUTION:An air direction changing plate 16 is arranged in a longitudinal direction of an outlet 15 and both end surface of the outlet 15 in a longitudinal direction are provided with a pair of air driven plates 17. A connecting rod 18 for connecting both air driven plates 17 through a spring is provided. With such an arrangement, a constant air speed can be attained without having any relation with an increased or decreased amount of air, and at the same time an aspect ratio is improved due to the fact that a longitudinal size of the outlet 15 is reduced, so that a dispersion of the blown air stream can be reduced and in particular a reaching distance of the hot air in case of performing the heating operation is extended. |
