PURPOSE:To play rich music by composing the musical sound controller of plural wave body receiving means corresponding to wave bodies outputted by plural wave body generating means and determining the pitch of a musical sound to be generated according to the time of reflection by a reflecting body. CONSTITUTION:The controller consists of the control part consisting of light emitting devices 2 as the wave body generating means and light receiving device 3 as the wave body receiving means which receive light reflected by the reflecting body. A light emission driving circuit 9 turns on the light emitting devices 2 for several msec in order through the operation of a CPU 5. A receiving device 3 when receiving light emitted by a light emitting device 2 and reflected by the reflecting body outputs a light reception signal to a light reception detecting circuit 10. The detecting circuit 10 outputs which light receiving device 3 the light is received from to the CPU 5 and calculates the difference between the light emission timing of the light emitting device 2 corresponding to the light receiving device 3 and the light reception timing of the light receiving device 3 to determine the element of the sound. |
