PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of an apparatus by connecting a piston fitted into a laterally-movable chamber to a drive for generating eccentric movement, and forming the piston so as to move in a prescribed orbit. CONSTITUTION: When this positive fuel displacement apparatus is implemented for a supercharger used together with an internal combustion engine, a bush 4 is eccentrically mounted on a crankshaft 2 rotated, and two pistons 6a, 6c facing each other are integrally connected by a driving structure 8 involving a retaining member 10 rotatably-mounted on the outer-surface of the bush 4. The piston 6a (for 6c, the same way taken) is fitted into a displacement chamber 14a, and the displacement chamber 14a is movably mounted inside a casing 15 in the direction perpendicular to the oscillating movement of the piston, and in the parallel direction with the crankshaft 2. A port opening 16a is formed on the outer-end of the displacement chamber 14a so as to communicate with an exhaust and intake ports 18a, 18b of the casing 15. |
