The guitar is supported, while being played, by means of two straps (5,7). Each strap (5,7) has one end attached to the centre of gravity (3) of the body of the guitar. Each strap (5,7) passes over one of the player's shoulders, under the corresp. arm and is then fastened to the guitar body at a point (1,2) at the corresp. end of the guitar body near its lower edge.
