Diagnosing mechanical characteristics of machine having rotating parts - detecting damage and/or wear by evaluating vibration signals arising
摘要
Vibration signals arising from the rotating parts of the machine are measured and prefiltered and digitised in a transient recorder (TR). They are evaluated in a freq. range by freq. transformation. At least one characteristic value is obtained that represents the relation of the values of an harmonic freq. (i=0.5;2;3) to the basic freq. (i=1) over a predetermined period. A signal processor (SP) limits the freq. band and claculates the freq. function e.g. by a Fast-Fourier Transformation (FFT). The separate harmonic freq. are searched for at the same time over the spectral plane. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple automatic monitoring of machine condition, e.g. fissure in shaft or blade of turbine, wear of gears.
