The plug-in fitment (1) for detachably connecting pipes, esp. plastics pipes, consists of a housing section (2) with an inner cone in which is a collet (8) behind which is an inner seal. A dirt seal is positioned near the plug-in opening of the collet (8). The dirt seal consists of a protective cap (21) fixed to the end of the protective cap (21) fixed to the end of the collet (8) protruding our of the housing part (2). The side of the protective cap (21) facing the housing-part (2,3) has a flexible sealing lip (25) resting against the housing part under axial pre-tension and obliquely to the fitment longitudinal axis. The protective cap (21) has an inward-protruding flexible sealing-lip (27) whose internal dia. is smaller than that of the pipe (19).
