<p>PURPOSE:To increase and opening rate and to obtain a bright display screen by arraying the regions where the semiconductor films of thin-film transistors (TFTRs) face the regions as the gate electrodes of row lines so as to respectively face the columne lines. CONSTITUTION:The regions where the semiconductor films of the TFTRs Q11 to Qm1, Q12 to Qm2,... Q1n to Qmn face the regions as the gate electrodes of at least the row lines L1 to Lm are arranged respectively to face columne lines C1, C2... Cm. The areas occupying the picture element regions Mij of the TFTRs Qij in the picture element regions Mij face the region as the gate electrodes of at least the row lines Li of the semiconductor films of the TFTRs Qij but decreases by as much as the regions facing the columne lines Cj and, therefore, the opening rate at which the area of the picture elements Eij occupy in the picture element regions Mij increases and therefore, the bright screen display is executed.</p> |
