PURPOSE:To restrict a noise caused by a turbulent flow of a high frequency by a method wherein a lower surface of a discharging port is positioned higher than an upper end of an upstream side of a drain pan and an opening of the discharged port is inclined in such a way as the lower surface is closer than an upper surface to a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A relation between a vertical height X between a lower surface 15a of a discharging port 15 and an upper surface plate 1b of a casing 1 and a vertical height Y between an upstream side upper end of a drain pan 17 and the upper surface plate 1b of the casing 1 shows X<=Y in such a way as a lower surface 15a of a discharging port 15 is positioned higher than an upstream side upper end of the drain pan 17. An opening 15c of the discharging port 15 is inclined in such a way as its lower end (a lower end 15a) approaches an indoor heat exchanger 16 more than an upper end (an upper surface 15b). Accordingly, air from the discharging port 15 is distributed in a lateral direction in view of its amount and a sufficient amount of injection can be assured without expanding a sectional shape of the discharged port 15 in a vertical direction. With such an arrangement, a noise of turbulent flow of high frequency is restricted. |
