<p>PURPOSE:To remove a limit on the number of axes to be directly control- commanded to enlarge a degree of freedom for the control of machine tools, etc., by adding, sub-words, a common sequence work preparation function and a group work preparation function to an input format of the numerical controller. CONSTITUTION:The sub-words are added to sequence numbers to be used for a working program, preparation function words, dimension words including interpolation parameter and angle dimension, feed function words, spindle function words, tool function words and auxiliary function words. Therefore, the number of the control axes is increased, the control function is extended and single system control and multiple system control are possible without adding control equipments outside of the controller. Thus, the recombination of a working allocation for each unit of the multiple stage machine tools can be made simple.</p> |
