PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble in the spraying of ink due to bubbles by disposing the row of desirable number of orifices provided through an orifice plate in a direction inclined to a vertical line and also arranging each partition plate provided between the orifices in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:Ink, fed from an ink feed port 9, is filled in the space defined by a base plate 2, frame plate 3, and orifice plate 5. When the ink is heated by energizing desired heating elements 1, the ink present between the elements 1 and orifices 4 facing said elements 1 is given thermal energy, whereby the pressure of the ink increases, causing the ink to be delivered from the orifices 4 so that report papers etc., are printed. In this case, if ink is not quickly supplied to the position from which ink has been delivered, air flows inwardly from the orifice 4 and hence bubbles may be produced. However, the bubbles pass upwardly between the vertical partition plates 6 and go to the ink feed port 9. As a result, spraying of ink thereafter is not disturbed. |
